Complete a 10-minute ice-plunge or cold shower
Take part in all of activities on our mountaineering skills training day without a coat.

*Participants who are unable to meet the physical demands of this hike are encouraged to sign up for our local Fro-Zen Intensive.  Students who cannot complete the ten-minute cold shower or the mountaineering skills without a coat will be allowed to attend, but only if they wear protective winter wear.

**Due to the strenuous nature of this challenge, this course is not open to those with heart conditions of any type, injuries that would interfere with hiking and pregnant people.

***Safety is our utmost priority.  If summit temperatures drop to below zero, or wind speeds are too high, we will end our hike at the tree-line just below the summit, or schedule a makeup day for Sunday March 12.  In the case of severe weather on both days, our final hike may take place in the Middlesex Fells.
